  They really should find a different type of restaurant because Chinese is not what they know.
  Egg roll was definitely store bought, not fresh or appetizing at all.
  Chicken fried rice was not fresh and had very little chicken.
  Chicken Lo mein was spicy, dry and had a very weird lemon taste. Nothing like I EVER had.
  Waste of time and money.
  Will never return.
  I should have walked out when I saw the cook sitting in the dining area reading.

  We came in to have a nice family dinner after our Dad , Father in Law , Grandpa, Great Grandpa had just passed a few short hours before. There was about 15 of us at one table. We ordered our food and it started to come to the table. One order of lowmein went to one of the youngest of us at the table . He did not care for it and his father said it was flavorless . Therefore it was sent back . However this establishment would not make a replacement order or even let us order a new dish for him at our cost. This little boy started crying because he was hungry and now was being refused food. At which point his Aunt went to talk to the owner about this matter. Needless to say the owner told us to just leave but at the same time expected us to pay for the food we did not get to enjoy. Mind you this establishment was practically empty in the dining rooms. We called the OPP, just to make sure she could not say we were leaving her place of business and ripping her off. The food , what we had of it was for the most part not that special it was mediocure at best. With the police with us we went in and settled with her and the police thanked us for being calm . What kind of an establishment treats little children this way , one that is with a grieving family to begin with ! Needless to say we will never return again . The food here is sub par at best .   Start with menus, would you like something to drink did not happen. Start with ordering I will the house lo mein my favorite dish, and a spring roll .  A combo #2 please and an extra egg roll cause 1 comes with ok.  I will have the sweet and sour shrimp combo with a spring roll.  The soup shows up about 15 minutes into sitting there.  We get water with 1 ice cube in each glass which I saw her take out of an ice cube tray from freezer. So the spring rolls all show up which we asked for 2 egg rolls so send them back.  No cutlery on table which I had asked for nope.  So I spot the container of cutlery on counter help yourself I guess.  So egg roll show up and crispy cause the grease is old.  What is the 1 thing you don't want to hear while waiting for food ding of a microwave yep that's right dish 1 done.  I asked for the beverages that come with the combos I had asked for a coke and a Chinese tea.  Diet coke shows up with 1 ice cube in glass I said no that was a coke.  Oh boy, dinner arrives I get my lo mein she says anything else I can get you I said I need a plate and some white rice well plate arrives and ding here comes your minute rice right straight from the microwave.  Not once did she come back to ask if anything was ok. I asked for another glass of water yup 1 ice cube sorry shortage of ice????  I think when you take over a restaurant you should change the name because you did not do the Hong chow justice. That was my favorite Chinese food restaurant we were on a first name basis with the waitress and the cook always new to put extra water chestnuts when I ordered their house lo mein. Very disappointed will never be returning. :(
